Anecdote
Everything started as some of you will know with certain doubts about whether to go to Santa Marta, for the theme of the beaches and some comments expressed in another thread of conversation. Basically in this thread different opinions were expressed and compared the beaches of Santa Marta with different beaches in the Caribbean such as Playa Blanca and Playa Cristal
Finally I decided that it was also worth going to Santa Marta and taking a risk with the theme of the beaches because we wanted to know something different.
So our decision was to go first to Cartagena (4 nights), then to Santa Marta (2 nights) and finally to Baru (3 nights). I must say that this combination was the best you could have chosen. Due to lack of time, we were not able to stay for 2 nights in Santa Marta to see the Tayrona, which is the only thing that I can not wait to see.
When
we arrived at the hotel they took us to our room and to our delight we had been
assigned a room with a balcony overlooking the sea.
I have no words to explain the feeling of getting up every day and see from the balcony the different shades of blue of that sea.
I have no words to explain the feeling of getting up every day and see from the balcony the different shades of blue of that sea.
The first day we arrived mid afternoon as at 5:00 pm so he
did not give us time to bathe. However, we went down to the beach and walked
through it.
We spent a lot of
time going to the beach on the water so I can say that I loved that sea. In
fact, due to its greater transparency and because it is so quiet, I liked it
better than the white beach
We did not do many excursions, we dedicated ourselves to enjoy the water that as you may have noticed, we loved it. We did the tour to Johnny Cay and the aquarium.
The beaches of Cartagena are not good, the water is brown like the river of silver. I read there somewhere that the water was transparent, and may be but at another time of the year. In this it is brown because according to the guide, the sand (which is gray) is mixed with the water by the currents in the water. There are many waves so it is not advisable to get into the water as the guide told me. Equally bathes the whole world. They told us that in the rainy season in two months the sea is calm and the water is blue. I would like to see it, because I saw it so brown that I can not imagine it blue.
Summing up my trip along the coast I thought it was wonderful. It is something that is enjoyed 100 percent. The warmth of its people, the beaches of Santa Marta and Cartagena, the night of Cartagena is something that can not be described. You have to live it.
I recommend everyone to be encouraged to travel to Colombia and to know this wonderful country.
Step 3 Create a video in which the student will explain an ideal trip for him, choose a different place than you don’t know. Include the video in the blog.
